MARLTON, N.J. and TRIPOLI, Libya, Jul 15, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today that it has been awarded a continuation of its contract by the Organization for Development of Administrative Centres (ODAC) to provide design management services in connection with 25 new university campuses throughout Libya. The four-year contract extension has an estimated value to Hill of approximately GBP 20.8 million ($34.1 million).
The new campuses will vary in size, design and function, and will each accommodate between 2,500 and 13,500 students in various regions of the country. The design of each campus will be unique and reflect each region's inherent history, culture and environment. The program's total construction cost is estimated to be between $3 billion and $5 billion.
