Hill International Establishes New Subsidiary, Hill Energy Systems Inc.
Houston, TX -- Hill International, Inc., the worldwide construction consulting firm, announced that it has established a new subsidiary, Hill Energy Systems, Inc., to provide power augmentation solutions to owners and operators of combustion turbines. The company will market and install a new technology known as Humid Air Injection (HAI).

A major operating challenge confronting combustion turbine operators is meeting their output requirements as ambient temperatures increase. Simply stated, as ambient temperatures rise, power output declines. Unfortunately, it is often at these times that consumer demand is at its peak and the price for electricity at its highest. HAI addresses this problem by significantly increasing turbine output and efficiency for about 1/3 the cost of adding a new combustion turbine.

“After evaluating several alternatives, Hill is tremendously excited to offer what we believe to be the best overall technology, HAI, to clients in the utility, IPP, industrial and pipeline industries,” said Peter F. Nassab, Senior Vice President of Hill Energy Systems.
