Hill International Awarded Contract to Manage $300 Million School Construction Program by the State of New Jersey
Marlton, NJ -- Hill International, Inc., the worldwide construction consulting firm, has announced that it has been awarded a contract by the New Jersey Schools Construction Corporation ("NJSCC"), a duly authorized subsidiary of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority ("EDA"), to provide project and construction management services on 15 school construction and renovation projects in seven regional school districts located throughout central and southern New Jersey. The five-year contract has a total expected value to Hill of almost $34 million and involves the oversight of $300 million, and potentially up to $350 million, in construction work.

The school construction assignments awarded by the NJSCC are in response to New Jersey's Educational Facilities Construction and Financing Act, which established a comprehensive program for the design, renovation, repair and new construction of primary and secondary public schools throughout the State of New Jersey. Hill's assignment, which is one of ten regional assignments awarded throughout the state by the NJSCC, involves managing new school construction and renovation of existing schools located within the Trenton, Burlington City, Pemberton Township, Bass River, New Hanover, Pemberton Borough and Rancocas Valley regional school districts.

"We are very excited and honored to have been awarded this assignment," said Stuart S. Richter, Senior Vice President of Hill and the company's regional manager in New Jersey. "Hill is highly experienced at managing K-12 school construction projects and we are looking forward to participating in such an important initiative to help make New Jersey school facilities among the best in the country." Richter added.

Hill International provides project management services and construction claims consulting through 19 offices worldwide. Engineering News-Record magazine recently ranked Hill as the 14th largest construction management firm in the United States. For more information on Hill, please visit our website at
