Alma J. Smith Joins Hill International as Vice President


New York, NY - February 6, 2006 - Hill International, the worldwide construction consulting firm, has announced that Alma J. Smith has joined the company's Project Management Group as a Vice President. Smith will be based out of Hill's New York City office.

Smith has more than 20 years of experience in managing construction projects, negotiating contracts, providing contract administration, and acting as a liaison between client, project staff, community and governmental agencies. Prior to joining Hill, Smith was President of McBride Jones, Inc., a program and construction management firm that she founded in 1997. Prior to that, she was a Project Manager with O'Brien Kreitzberg, Inc. and a Project Executive with Thacker Engineering, Inc. Smith earned her B.S. in political science from North Carolina A&T State University, and she has additional coursework in construction management from New York University.
