ACE Mentor Program Honors Stuart S. Richter of Hill International
Marlton, NJ -- Hill International, Inc., the worldwide construction consulting firm, has announced that Stuart S. Richter, Senior Vice President in charge of Hill's New Jersey project management operation, was honored by the ACE Mentor Program for his dedication and service to the organization, which mentors high school students interested in careers in the construction industry. The ceremony took place on Monday, October 2, at the Marriott at Lafayette Yard in Trenton, NJ.

Richter, along with Chima Ucheya, a Managing Consultant with Hill, helped spearhead the first ACE chapter in Southern/Central New Jersey in the Fall of 2003 starting with 18 students, all from Trenton Central High. In its second year, the Trenton Chapter ACE program built on that success by significantly growing student involvement. The program exposes young students to diverse mentor skills and backgrounds and offers an enriched curriculum that balances lectures from architects and engineers along with hands-on studio-based demonstration projects.

"Stu's knowledge of the construction industry and ability to teach and mentor youth is a key reason for the Trenton Chapter's success," said Irvin E. Richter, Chairman and CEO of Hill International. "Hill professionals will be active in the ACE program for many years to come," Richter added.

The ACE Mentor Program, founded in 1994, serves high school students who are exploring careers in architecture, construction or engineering. ACE mentors are professionals from leading design and construction firms who volunteer their time and energy to engage, inform, and challenge youth.
